The Full Story

About

New Africa Village, a 501(c)(3) public charity organization, provides services to the underserved and socioeconomically impacted in the community on a local and global level and also organizes fundraising events to provide assistance to those affected by community ills.

The focus of New Africa Village is to provide after school programs and summer programs for children with emphasis in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), to initiate anti-bullying programs, to provide community mediation, to serve as a community resource center, and to institute a community market.

Mission Statement

New Africa Village is a grassroots nonprofit organization which serves as a catalyst for organizing and partnering with nonprofits on collective efforts that provide services to help eradicate food insecurity, educational inequality, health disparities, and inequity and injustice that disproportionately impact the underserved and socioeconomically affected in the community.

Vision

We envision a community that combines its resources to assure that everyone has equitable means to give them a future by investing in and building a model community, one life at a time.

Values

  • We believe people have inherent capabilities to effect change in their lives and to be an agent of change in their communities. We respect all of humanity and value their cultures.

  • We believe by helping people to help themselves through proper education and resources will improve their quality of life and that of generations to come.

  • We believe stewardship requires the wise and reasonable use of resources and that being responsible and exercising sound judgment are important in all aspects of life.

  • We believe in free thinking and value integrity which are essential to building model communities worldwide.
